Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies shopflote.com uses, what each one does, and how to control them. We run no advertising or retargeting pixels.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Related technologies such as local storage work similarly. They help a site remember preferences, understand how it is used, and keep it secure.
2. What This Site Actually Uses
We run no advertising or retargeting pixels. There is no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, and no Google Ads tag on this site.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors for usage measurement | Analytics | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | Analytics | 2 years |
| flote_attribution | FLOTE (local storage) | Remembers which campaign or link brought you here, so we can credit it | Analytics | Until cleared |
| flote_ref | FLOTE (local storage) | Remembers a referral code from a shared link | Functional | Until cleared |
| flote_modal | FLOTE (local storage) | Remembers that you dismissed a signup prompt, so it is not shown again | Functional | Until cleared |
Checkout runs on Shopify, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies to hold your cart and secure the payment session. Those are described in Shopify's own privacy documentation and are required for checkout to function.
3. Controlling Cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage, usually under Privacy or Security settings. Blocking analytics storage does not prevent you from browsing or ordering.
- Google Analytics: the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on disables measurement across all sites.
- Global Privacy Control: we treat a GPC signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information.
4. If This Changes
If we add advertising or retargeting technology in future, we will update this page before it goes live, add a consent mechanism for visitors who require one, and publish a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link as required by California law.
